TELETEL delivered two CDMS SCOEs for the ESA PLATO mission

TELETEL completed successfully the design, development, manufacturing, validation & delivery to Thales Alenia Space UK of two CDMS SCOE sets, for the PLAnetary Transits and Oscillations of stars (PLATO) mission of the European Space Agency (ESA).

The PLATO mission objective is to find and study a large number of extrasolar planetary systems, with emphasis on the properties of terrestrial planets in the habitable zone around solar-like stars. The CDMS SCOE is a key element of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used in the ground testing of the PLATO Spacecraft. Its purpose is to test the Control & Data Management System (CDMS) during all Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) phases.

The CDMS SCOE Set#1 was delivered to TAS (Cannes) in April 2021, and the CDMS SCOE Set#2 was delivered to TAS (Bristol) in September 2021.
