LSTM Instrument EGSE

TELETEL was selected by Airbus Defence & Space France for the design, development and delivery of two Instrument EGSE (I-EGSE), for the Land Surface Temperature Monitoring (LSTM) mission of the European Space Agency (ESA). The LSTM I-EGSE will be used to verify and integrate the LSTM instrument during the AIT phases of the project. This encompasses the verification of initial Bread-Board models in isolation, up to the complete instrument composed of flight model equipment. It will provide the physical interfaces to the instrument & GSE and a software environment for command, monitoring, database management, test evaluation and automation, test archive and data retrieval capabilities. Set#1 has been delivered to ADS (Toulouse) in January 2023, delivery of Set#2 is planned for October 2023.

FLEX MPDU EGSE

TELETEL was selected by Thales Alenia Space UK for the design, development and delivery of two Mains Power Distribution Unit (MPDU) EGSE for the FLuorescence EXplorer (FLEX) satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA). The MPDU is a key element of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used in the ground testing of the FLEX Satellite. The purpose of the MPDU is to distribute mains power to the various SCOE racks by providing galvanic isolation and protecting both the facility supply and the SCOE racks or the Unit Under Test (UUT) from noise or other unwanted signals or parasites. The FLEX MPDU are based on the iSAFT-MITU-4332 product. The two (2) sets have been delivered to TAS-UK in January 2022.

PLATO CDMS EGSE

TELETEL was selected by Thales Alenia Space UK and OHB for the design, development and delivery of the PLATO CDMS EGSE (2 sets). The PLATO CDMS EGSE will be based on the iSAFT SpaceWire Simulator/Recorder and the iSAFT MIL-STD-1553 Simulator/Recorder products. The Power and I/O Front Ends will be realised by COTS HW components controlled by the iSAFT software. Platform and Payload Software Simulation Models will also be developed. The CDMS SCOE Set#1 was delivered to TAS (Cannes) in April 2021, and the CDMS SCOE Set#2 was delivered to TAS (Bristol) in September 2021.

MicroCarb Instrument EGSE

TELETEL was selected by Airbus Defense & Space Toulouse to design, develop, integrate, verify and deliver two (2) EGSEs for the MicroCarb Instrument. The MicroCarb Instrument EGSE will consist of the EGSE Front End Equipment (EGSE-FE) provided by TELETEL and the EGSE CCS and QLK software provided by TERMA. The EGSE FE is based on the iSAFT SpaceWire Simulator product, plus COTS components for the Power and I/O Front Ends and custom HW and SW developments. The first MicroCarb Instrument EGSE was delivered to the customer in April 2018 and the second one in October 2018.

IASI-NG MDE EGSE

TELETEL was selected by Syderal (Switzerland) and Airbus Defense & Space Toulouse to design, develop, integrate, verify and deliver the EGSE for the IASI-NG Mechanism Drive Electronics (MDE). The MDE EGSE DFE was based on the iSAFT SpaceWire Simulator product. The MDE EGSE Power and I/O Front Ends are realised by COTS components and custom HW and SW developments. The MDE EGSE was delivered to the customer in September 2017. Two intermediate EGSE deliveries based the iSAFT SpaceWire Simulator product have been made to Syderal in October 2016 and January 2017.

Euclid ADPME EGSE

TELETEL was selected by Thales Alenia Space Espagna and Syderal (Switzerland) to design, develop, integrate, verify and deliver the EGSE for the EUCLID Antenna Deployment and Pointing Mechanism Electronics (ADPME). The ADPME EGSE DFE is based on the iSAFT MIL-STD-1553 Simulator product. The ADPME EGSE Power and I/O Front Ends is realised by COTS components and custom HW and SW developments. Two (2) ADPME EGSE instances were delivered to the customer in September 2017.

Integrated Payload Computer EGSE

TELETEL was selected by SYDERAL and ESA to design, develop, integrate, verify and deliver the EGSE for its new generation payload computer. The EGSE is based on the iSAFT SpaceWire / MIL-STD-1553 / CAN Simulator products supporting coordinated tests execution over multiple Data Front Ends (SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553 and CAN) plus additional custom HW and SW developments to validate the specific OBC features. The EGSE was delivered to the customer in November 2016.

EGSE for SIROM interface

SIROM* realized a set of integrated and inherently optimized interfaces for mechanical, data, electrical and thermal connectivity that allow reliable, robust and multi-functional coupling of payload to robot manipulators or payload to other payload. TELETEL provided the EGSE for the validation of functional, performance and reliability requirements for the SIROM Data and Electrical I/Fs, based on its iSAFT Product Line and specifically the iSAFT SpaceWire and CAN/CANOpen Front-Ends.

*Note: SIROM is an H2020 project with SENER, AIRBUS DEFENCE & SPACE, THALES ALENIA SPACE, LEONARDO and other industrial and research partners in the field of robotic handling of payloads in future space missions.
