TELETEL has recently signed a multi-million Euro contract to design, develop, validate and qualify the complete application software of the ENVISION spacecraft. As a direct contractor of Thales Alenia Space – Italy, TELETEL is responsible for the complete spacecraft central software from design until final qualification, followed by post-launch warranty and maintenance.

EnVision is a European Space Agency (ESA) orbiter mission, in partnership with NASA, scheduled to launch in 2031 to conduct a comprehensive, holistic study of Venus. It will investigate the planet’s interior, surface, and atmosphere to understand how and why Venus and Earth evolved differently, specifically focusing on its current geological activity and climate. EnVision will perform high-resolution radar mapping, stereoscopy, and polarimetry to detect surface changes and map geological features, helping scientists understand the “deepest secrets” of Venus.

Spacecraft Instruments will feature a Synthetic Aperture Radar (VenSAR) for high-resolution mapping, a Subsurface Radar Sounder (SRS) for underground imaging, and the VenSpec suite of instruments to analyze atmospheric gases and surface mineralogy.

Launch is planned for November 2031 on an Ariane 6 rocket, with a 15-month cruise and a year-long aerobraking phase to reach its final, low-polar orbit (220–540 km altitude) by around 2034.
