Background: EnVision is a Venus orbiter mission selected by ESA’s Science Programme Committee as the fifth Medium-class mission in the Agency’s Cosmic Vision plan. It will be the first mission to investigate Venus from its inner core to its upper atmosphere, characterizing the interaction between its atmosphere, surface/subsurface and interior. It is a mission dedicated to exploring Venus and providing a holistic view of the planet, studying its history, activity, and climate.

The EnVision Satellite Interface Simulator (SIS) emulates the behaviour of the spacecraft with representative interfaces towards the scientific instruments. It allows to support payloads/equipment development with representative satellite electrical and communication environment.
